Every Tuesday, Jacqueline Oby-Ikocha hosts a weekly challenge. The idea is to encourage others by sharing snippets of positive thoughts. For further details check out Jacqueline’s blog.
If you’d like to join in don’t hesitate to visit Jacqueline’s “Thinking Corner” (see side bar section under Inspiration-Motivation) at: https://acookingpotandtwistedtales.com.
Why not take a leaf out of Jacqueline’s book and spend a little time detoxifying your mind?
Be good to yourself! Instead of worrying – spend a few moments meditating (i.e. filling your mind with precious nuggets of life-enhancing thoughts).
This week my three snippets focus on FRIENDSHIP.
- It’s been said that “Friends are a gift from God”. Are you a gift to someone? A gift delights, surprises, brings pleasure. A gift is something given. Therefore, give of yourself—your time, your encouragement, your love and support.
- A friend loves at all times (Proverbs 17:17) – so don’t be a “fair-weather” friend!
- Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver, the other gold (source unknown).
