My Thinking Corner

MY THINKING CORNER aims to share positive thoughts to encourage, inspire and motivate us on our journey in life and towards personal achievement and success.
Every Tuesday, Jacqueline Oby-Ikocha hosts a weekly challenge to share snippets of positive thoughts. If you’d like to join in, please check out this link for further details.
Today my thoughts are on the subject of LIFE. I’ve heard it said that life is a gift. If that is the case (and I believe it is so) then the onus is upon us to unwrap it and enjoy it.
How can we make the most of this precious but transient gift, with which God has blessed us?
Here are my thoughts on how we can enjoy an abundant, satisfying life which glorifies our gracious Giver.
- Don’t just make a living – make a life! (i.e. a meaningful, productive, God-honouring and successful life).
- The four key ingredients of a successful life are:
- Love – unconditional love (for God, self and others)
- An indomitable spirit (develop a refuse-to-give-in mindset)
- Faith (in God)
- Enthusiasm.
- Be a giver. A constant ‘taker’ in life becomes fat with egotism, ingratitude and selfishness. As a giver (of your encouragement to others, love, kindness, time and resources), your generosity will reap dividends.
As the Bible promises:
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Luke 6:38 (NKJ)
Thoughts are free from toll

“Life is Hard By the Yard, By the Inch It’s a Cinch!” My beloved Mother always said this, and since I hung on her every word, I have lived and thrived by it.
“Life is a precious jewel, and I want to keep mine polished.” I just came up with this one!

To have such a background and culture at home and outside “it shall be a Gift in a Swift”.

I have read your posts Shiva and enjoyed reading the ones on Doubt and The Smile. You are blessed with a lot of followers who are generous with their support and comments. You have a unique viewpoint and blog style. I am glad you are enjoying your global interactions and gracing cyberspace with your aura of positivity. I am one who does not choose to put my photo on my blog. I hope nevertheless that folks are able to sense my smile behind my words.

That’s so Good Lady! You need not put your photo its your free choice. Yes I am able to sense the Smile on your face, the Pulse of your Heart and the Broadness of your Mind.
Yes you are right in saying I am blessed by the support and comments of fellow blogger friends, they have been a source of inspiration and energy to me on this platform. Only because of them I could come through so far and I am deeply indebted to them.
I am very happy having been here with the global interactions and gracing cyberspace and I am thankful to all who have accepted my Positivism.
Its Great Ladycee being here.
See the interactions we are having past few days and we are deriving such pleasure, don’t you think so?
