My Thinking Corner – Integrity

My Thinking Corner

Hello lovely readers,

It’s that time of the week again when we share positive thoughts to encourage, inspire and motivate one another on our journey in life and towards personal achievement and success.

Every Tuesday, Jacqueline Oby-Ikocha hosts a weekly challenge to share snippets of positive thoughts. For further details check out her blog and if you’d like to join in, don’t hesitate to visit Jacqueline’s “Thinking Corner” (see Tuesday Trickles at side bar section for full details).

This week, my focus is on INTEGRITY

integrity-quote( is not what you appear to be when all eyes are on you. It’s who you are when no one is looking. It’s a level of morality below which you never fall, no matter what’s happening around you. It’s a high standard of honesty, truthfulness, decency and honor that is never breached. It’s doing for others the way you would want them to do for you.

(The Power of a Praying Wife – Stormie Omartian)

Integrity is a heart-deep moral stance – not a stage for shallow showmanship

(Carol Hind)

Integrity is a choice to honour your moral or godly principles above popularity or personal gain

(Carol Hind)

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

(Bob Marley)

And for a portrait of someone who walks in godly integrity see Psalm 15:1-5

  2. Beautiful, beautiful. I love Stormie Omartian and several of her books have been a blessing to me. Integrity is not something we do for others to see, but constitutes who we are.

    1. Thank you Jacqueline for the encouragement. Good to hear from you. I have only the one book by Stormie but I use it almost daily. Yes I absolutely agree with you – integrity constitutes who we are. Bless you.
