Hello, my lovely friends and family members in Christ,
No doubt, many of you are celebrating Thanksgiving Day with your family and friends. And, no doubt, many of you will sit down at a table laden with all kinds of delectable food. For those who are travelling, I wish you journey mercies. And for everyone preparing and partaking, I hope you enjoy a wonderful time with your loved ones.
Dear friends, may I also ask you to remember to take some time this week or at the weekend, to sit down in the presence of God and partake of his table, his banquet of love?
If you are needing peace, or a sense of love and acceptance, Jesus is your man! He is the lover of your soul. Will you take time to share with him your heart of gratitude for what he has done for you?
Will you take the time to express your heart of gratitude in terms that go deeper than a superficial acknowledgment of daily blessings normally taken for granted?
Will you join with me and open your hearts to a new depth of realisation and appreciation for the salvation package and benefits, which the Lord has purchased for you with his precious blood?
Will you join the psalmist and as invited by him in Psalm 103, bless the Lord with all your heart and forget not all his benefits?
