Before you rush off, I’d just like to preface the above with the following:

As a purpose-driven achiever, my desire is to serve God and be used by Him to be a blessing to others, particularly those who are in no position to return the favour! I’m always interested to hear about what God is doing in and through the lives of others who serve Him, particularly when their ministry involves children, or those whose lives are poverty-stricken.

I found the above post both sobering and challenging reading. I was especially touched to read about a woman who turned her loneliness into a ministry reaching out to other lonely women. I hope you will find this post as moving as I did and that you will allow God to challenge your heart as a purpose-driven achiever.

SELF SCRUTINY:

Is there someone in dire need, whom you are supporting? Is there a negative situation in your life, which God can turn around by enabling you to use that experience and reach out to others?
