Hello friends,
How are you doing with your dreams, goals and aspirations?
Have you made good progress? Or have you given up? Or perhaps you have not yet even started!
Although the beginning of a brand New Year is the usual time for making resolutions or setting yearly goals, to my knowledge there isn’t anything set in stone, which says this is the only time when we can make a fresh start, or decide to set ourselves a personal development challenge.
If you’ve not yet got your act together, or if you started but have fallen by the wayside, why not make up your mind to do something about it now? Granted we are moving rapidly towards the end of this month but once we do, we still have six months of this year left.
Whilst I was listening to a motivational message this week, Tony Robbins made a statement that I’d like to share with you all today. He said that happiness is not about acquiring things. It’s about making progress.
Success is not what you get but who you become!
I believe I read somewhere a little while ago that the No. 1 desire most people want out of life is to be happy. Is that your desire? If so, why not take on board Robbins’ statement and over the next six months pursue that desire? Make yourself happy! And if you are already happy with yourself and with your life, there’s no law which says you can’t make yourself even happier!
Why not set yourself a goal that challenges you to make progress, whether it is to do something constructive about acquiring a new skill, or making up your mind to change a negative behaviour.
And what about setting a spiritual goal? If you’ve never done so, you could aim to read the entire New Testament from beginning to end by the end of this year. Or you could plan to read some of those books (like Revelation), which you often skip because they are difficult to understand.
Or you could keep a gratitude Journal for 6 months. Or, for the remainder of this year, you could pray regularly for someone you know, to come to Christ.
These are just a few suggestions but it could be anything you like.
Just a challenge I’m throwing out there. Any takers?
Best wishes,
Carol (aka Lady Cee)

Good Morning Aunty C
It’s the end of another week. Yay! Not that I’m wishing life away or anything. However, I always look forward to downtime at the weekends. And of course, now reading your blogs😊
Again thankyou for sharing another lovely blog. This time on the Happiness Challenge.
You know, I am working on developing a postive mindset so I can develop the habit to see that everyday there are reasons to be happy. I actually found 5 this week. One, is that by God’s grace, I wake up every morning and I’m alive!
I think the 6 months “Happiness Challenge” is a great idea.
Once again, thankyou for sharing your blog Aunty. Keep writing and inspiring.

Thank you Sheri for sharing and I’m glad you feel inspired to join in. I think that’s a great challenge for you to pursue. Yes, I agree with you – every day we are awake, we should consider ourselves blessed to be alive!
Have a great weekend! 🙂
