I realise this is the season of Lent and whether or not you have jumped on board with the whole denying-self routine, here are a few things I’d like you to consider, as part of your journey as a victorious overcomer. How about denying yourself the “luxury” of thinking about yourself in negative terms? How […]
Hello dear friends and followers. I’m celebrating the publication of a guest post, which has been published by a good friend (Holly) at her blog site, Wholeness Haven. Whoo hoo! Could you help me celebrate by visiting her site and supporting her? I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! She’s done a sterling job with the […]
Hello Women of Warfare followers and visitors. A belated welcome to a brand new year! When the clock struck midnight this year and Happy New Year wishes rang around the globe, how did you feel? How did you respond? Did those words ring hollow in your ears? I do hope not! I do trust that […]
(1) If you want to know about prayer, examine the life of Jesus: He prayed when the pressures of life increased. He prayed when important decisions had to be made. It’s when you think you don’t have time to pray, that you need to pray most. Spending time with God is the secret to having […]
It’s Not Nice! Ever walked into a room and realised you’ve just interrupted a conversation, where you were the subject of discussion? It’s happened to me quite a few times! The chief culprits were ex work colleagues. Not a nice feeling is it? Especially when you realise that whatever was being said about you, was […]

Do you like being weak? Feeling weak? Do you relish it when other people have the upper hand over you? Are you quite happy to let those who feel so inclined walk over you, or play their petty mind games and pull down, even crush your carefully erected but fragile self-esteem? Now, if you are […]
To secure and maintain possession of God’s promises To secure peace and protection for your loved ones Because Satan is roaming around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour Because God wants you to conquer the Goliaths in your life Because you are in a spiritual battle and you, plus your loved […]
What a great post, Carol! It’s so important that we remind ourselves & others right now that while much has changed, much has stayed the same. We can still enjoy life and still be smart/safe. Building a board game does sound like a lot of fun 🙂 Have you done that?
The passion project was probably my favorite. I feel in these times of great uncertainty, God is using this moment to propel many into their destinies. Some are having to do so out of necessity, sadly. (Much prayer needed!) While others are finding that ‘the old’ simply isn’t satisfying and they feel pulled in a new direction. Our God truly is up to something great! Satan can’t stop what’s coming next. I believe it will be miracles, signs and wonders like we never imagined possible.
Sending you my love, dear friend. It’s always a joy to come and read your posts! (Sorry that I’ve been behind. We’ve been prepping the plant nursery for the Spring and it has been keeping us busy!) I pray that you & yours are well and blessed.

Hello Holly,
Than you for your visit. You are always welcome to stop by when you can. I do appreciate you taking the time to visit. I haven’t yet built a board game yet (procrastination strikes again!) 😃 The idea appeals to me cos I do enjoy board games and this blogger’s suggestion reminded me of some ideas I’ve had a while ago.
I do believe you are right regarding the passion projects. Sometimes it takes a life-altering experience to make us re-assess our priorities and as you say, propel us into God’s purposes.
Take good care of yourself Holly. May God’s peace and protection rest upon you and your loved ones. Enjoy the upcoming Easter break!
