Today is a new day.
Tomorrow is not yet here and yesterday has gone.
Today is a new opportunity to get it right, to conform to God’s will, rather than with the standards of this world, the standards of your friends and neighbours.
Today offers you a new canvas on which to paint your dreams… a new page on which to write YOUR story.
What will you do with today?
Will you grab that brand new opportunity?
Will you seize the day?
I hope you will!
And to close my message for today’s post, here are a few quotes, which I hope will inspire you.
Authenticity is everything! You have to wake up every day and look in the mirror, and you want to be proud of the person who’s looking back at you. And you can only do that if you’re being honest with yourself and being a person of high character. You have an opportunity every single day to write that story of your life.
Aaron Rodgers
Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation, while bad luck is when lack of preparation meets reality.
Eliyahu Goldratt
The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

Dearest Carol, I love this post. You have some power packed truth here. I think my favorite quote has to be the one from Aaron Rodgers about authenticity. All I can say is AMEN! Few things are worse than walking through this life feeling like an impostor. We were all created with such uniqueness and purpose from our loving God. Living anything less than that truth He created for us is indeed one miserable life devoid of joy. When what we are doing and how we are being leaves emptiness in our spirit – it’s time to reevaluate why we do what we do.
Seeking the Lord’s wisdom for our direction and meaning yields the most unbelievable results. He knows exactly what He’s doing, even when we don’t 🙂
God bless you dear sis. Keep on being the blessing you are! 🤗

And God bless you Holly!
Thank you for your wonderful, engaging comment. I have also been struck by the quest to be authentic, rather than seeking (and failing) to be a perfectionist.
Always great to hear your uncompromising slant on issues.
